Investment & Fees
What is the initial franchise fee?
The initial franchise fee is $40,000 per location.
What is the total investment?
The estimated investment range is $750,000 – $1,200,000, depending on location, build-out, and other factors.
Is there an application fee?
No, Costa Vida no longer charges an application fee. Candidates are evaluated through our standard review process without upfront cost.
What are the royalty and marketing fees?
The royalty is 5% of gross sales. The marketing contribution is 2% to the national fund plus a required local advertising spend.
What are the financial requirements?
Candidates must have a minimum net worth of $1,500,000 and at least $500,000 in liquid capital.
Do you offer financing?
Costa Vida does not directly provide financing, but we can connect you with preferred lenders who are familiar with our brand and industry.

Franchise Process
What is the process for becoming a franchisee?
The process includes submitting an interest form, paying the application fee, an initial call, reviewing the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), attending Discovery Day, and final approval before training and build-out.
How long does the process take?
From application to opening, the process usually takes 6–12 months depending on site selection and construction timelines.
